![]() ![]() Now I'm very aware that this idea is very unlikely to happen (we aren't even sure if BZ 2 will be reduxed, let alone a mod for it), but like I said if it'd be as hard as you say it is to do it, then perhaps the developers would be the most qualified people to do it. ![]() The Scions even have the ability to morph their bio-metal vehicles into new vehicles. Then, depending on the time and costs to do something like that, they could sell it as DLC like with the Red Odyssey. Like its predecessor, Battlezone 2 contains a wealth of innovative and cool weapons, from TAG lasers that mark a victim and then spray a stream of rockets at them, to simple mortars and fire-and-forget missiles. The developers are the ones reduxing the game so if anyone had an idea on how to make it work it'd be them. You know one idea I possibly have is if it'd be really labor intensive for regular modders to redux the mod for BZ 2 on Steam's format, then perhaps the developers of the game themselves could possibly do it as a DLC. I will let the devs know anything I can sort out related to mods but it's up to them if they listen should they redux BZ2. I have a lot of investigation to do with BZ2 that I will be starting sometime soon. Erm, unless something big happened in 1.3 recently BZ2 does not support LUA directly but via a mission DLL that could be packed into it. Forgotten Enemies' mission scripts would have to be completely rewritten if they were to be made compatible with any future BZII redux. Battlezone II supports lua scripting now, but nothing really takes advantage of that at the moment. dll files due to security concerns, and campaign mods such as Forgotten Enemies require them to function.
